  • You’ll learn from seasoned professionals who bring a wealth of real-world experience directly into the classroom. Our instructors have served in active roles within emergency services as Advanced EMTs, Paramedics, Firefighters, Fire Captains, Fire Chiefs, Flight Paramedics, Critical Care Paramedics, Medical Directors, and Physician Associates, offering invaluable insights and practical knowledge that go far beyond textbooks.

    Our lecture Instructors are required a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field.

  • We understand the critical role our graduates will play – they'll be the ones responding when our neighbors dial 911. Our commitment to rigorous training ensures they are not just certified, but truly prepared to serve effectively in those crucial moments.

  • Your education is important and you should be focused on learning and nothing else! We work hard to provide you the best education at a low price.

    We provide our students with our own online learning system. You don't have to buy a brand new textbook with an access code. We hand picked the content to help you learn and succeed while saving you hundreds of dollars compared to other schools. You can find a great deal on a used textbook. Our students spend $40-$60 on average for their textbooks.

    We don't have any additional fees.

    You will be responsible for certification fees to the Utah Bureau of EMS and the NREMT. Licensing information can be found at bemsp.utah.gov and nremt.org

    Class sizes are limited. To ensure your seat in the class please pay the registration - deposit. This will enroll you in the course. Full tuition must be paid 1 week prior to the start date.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Students are responsible for their own stethoscope and a blood pressure cuff for EMT and Advanced EMT courses.
    We will provide you with safety glasses and encourage you to take them with you to your EMT job.
    We will also provide one shirt. Additional shirts are available for purchase.


  • You will be responsible for certification fees to the Utah Bureau of EMS and the NREMT. Licensing information can be found at ems.utah.gov and nremt.org

  • The tuition is due one week before your first day of class. At that time any sets that are not paid in full will open to our waiting list and the general public.

  • Utah is a National Registry State for initial licensing. After you complete our course you’ll sit for the NREMT test. All 50 States offer reciprocity applications that easily transfer your national certification with a small fee. Some States may require a background check.

  • You must be a licensed EMT before starting an Advanced EMT course

Careers

  • Launch your career with our job placement support. We can’t guarantee a job but our recommendations and assistance often go a long way. We leverage our extensive network and strong relationships with hospitals and EMS agencies throughout the State to connect you with opportunities. Furthermore, drawing on our team's deep roots and decades of experience within the fire service, we provide specialized guidance to help you navigate the unique firefighter hiring process.

  • Our instructors are carefully selected to provide our students with the best possible learning experience.

    Lecture Instructors
    Lecture Instructors are required to have a minimum of 10 years experience in the field and be certified EMS Instructors. Experts from other fields are also brought in to lecture from time to time.

    Developing Instructors
    We believe in developing instructors and see teaching as a great learning experience. We recruit excellent past students and AEMTs, Paramedics from the community to assist with skills checks and as additional help during practical skills practice.

    Volunteers
    Volunteers are used from time to time as patients, victims, and bystanders.

Veterans

  • We are grateful to those who serve our country. Veterans and their spouses may qualify for tuition assistance through the Utah Department of Workforce Services and the Veterans Administration.

BLS, ACLS, PALS

  • Our BLS, ACLS, and PALS courses can be taken as instructor-led or blended courses. Instructor-led courses are completed in-person. Blended courses have an online component with an in-person skills test. These courses meet AHA guidelines.
